This privacy policy informs you about the collection of personal data when using our website cyberversicherung.ch. Personal data is any data that can be personally related to you.

2. Data Collection on Our Website

Server log files: Each time our website is accessed, our server automatically records information (server log files) such as browser type, operating system, referrer URL, IP address, date and time of access. This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is deleted after 30 days.

3. Contact Form / Quote Request

When you contact us via the quote form, your details (company, industry, number of employees, email, phone) are stored to process your enquiry. This data is forwarded to our partner BTAG Versicherungsbroker AG, who handles your quote request. No transfer to other third parties takes place.

4. Audience measurement and cookies

When audience measurement is enabled, we use PostHog to analyse aggregated page views and technical usage data. Names, contact details and free-text fields are not sent to PostHog; when an enquiry is submitted, non-personal categories such as industry, company size and acquisition channel may be recorded. The configuration keeps the anonymous session identifier in browser memory only, uses neither tracking cookies nor Local Storage, and discards it when the tab is closed. This measurement helps us improve content and usability; technically necessary cookies may be used for individual functions.

If a visit is recognisably referred by an AI search service such as ChatGPT or Perplexity, we store only the normalised source category and first page viewed in Session Storage for the lifetime of the open tab. URL parameters and free-form campaign values are removed before audience-measurement data is sent. We do not capture the prompt or personal form content, and the data is discarded when the tab is closed.

5. SSL Encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://".

6. Your Rights

Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA), you have the right to access, rectification, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data. Contact us at info@btag-bern.ch.

7. Changes
